Former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol, who has been linked with a move to either MLS or the Middle East, says he is “not ruling anything out” regarding a return to playing. The37-year-old, who currently lives in New York, retired from the game at the end of last season after struggling with persistent knee problems. According to Catalan paper Mundo Deportivo, the2010 World Cup winner is working on his fitness ahead of a return to playing, with MLS his most likely destination. In an interview, Puyol said he is mulling his next career move, with coaching alsoan option.
