Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone will miss the final three games of La Liga season as he was handed a three-game ban after a ball was thrown onto the Vicente Calderon with the seeming intentto break up a Malaga counterattack in Atletico’s match last weekend. Atletico is tied for first with Barcelona.
“It’s clear that the referee made the right decision as per theregulations,” Simeone said of being sent off. “He did what he had to do. There’s little more that can be said. The images will show [what happened]. It was a [ball] boy beside me,but that doesn’t mean anything.”
