It’s been rare for American brothers to play together on the same pro team, let alone be signed at the same time.
Joel Soñora, 26, and Alan Soñora, 24, both signed with Liga MX’s FC Juarez on Tuesday. They are the sons of former MLS player Diego Soñora. They were born in the USA but grew up in their father’s native Argentina.
