Sunderland winger Adam Johnson on Friday was named the Premier League player of the month for January, after scoring five goals in the month, including a hat trick against Fulhamin a 4-1 away win. According to the Guardian, Johnson’s form has been so good that England coach Roy Hodgson may be forced to recall him to the national team squad forthe World Cup.
