[NWSL] Portland Thorns FC, tied for first place with Sky Blue FC, signed forward Tiffany Weimer for the remainder of theinaugural 2013 NWSL season. The former Penn State star spent the 2012-13 Danish season with Fortuna Hjorring for which she scored 14 goals in all competitions, helping it take second place in theElitedivisionen regular season and Danish Women’s Cup and reach the round of 16 at the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
