The U.S. U-17 women’s national team opens a training camp on Tuesday in West Palm Beach, Florida, with 24 players.
Concacaf qualifying for the Under-17 World Cup will held in early spring a site to be determined. The World Cup will become an annual event this year and be held in Morocco for the next five years.
• Makeup: All 24 players Coach Katie Schoepfer named to this camp are 2008s. The West Palm Beach squad includes 18 players selected come from ECNL programs, four from programs in the Girls Academy, and Claire Kessenger who plays for CE Europa’s Juvenil A U-19 team in Spain.
