For days after facing France in Paris Nov. 11 in the fourth game of the Jurgen Klinsmann reign, the USA meets Slovenia in a Nov. 15 friendly in Ljubljana.

The USA andSlovenia have met only once before — tying 2-2 at the 2010 World Cup in their second Group C game. The USA fell behind to two first-half goals from Slovenia but fought back with goals fromLandon Donovan and Michael Bradley, before a late goal from Maurice Edu was controversially disallowed.

“Slovenia is a small nation thathas achieved big results,” said Klinsmann. “For them to have qualified for two World Cups in such a short time is an incredible achievement. I have seen them play in qualifying and the last WorldCup, and I was very impressed. This game is another good opportunity for our players to build on what we have been working on for the last few months.

Kickoff time for the Slovenia-USA gamehas not been determined, but the game will be televised by ESPN2 and Galavision.

Slovenia did not qualify for the 2012 European Championship, but the nation of just more than 2 millionqualified for Euro 2000 as well as World Cups in 2002 and 2010 since playing their first match as an independent nation in 1992.
