U.S. Soccer announced the members and immediate priorities for its new Participant Safety Taskforce.
 
The chair of the taskforce is Mana Shim, who came forward with former Portland Thorns teammate Sinead Farrelly in 2021 about sexual harassment and coercion they said their Thorns coach Paul Riley inflicted on them when they played in Portland in the NWSL years earlier.
