The number of MLS players selected to play in the World Cup or named to preliminary rosters is up to 23 with the selection of a pair of players to Peru’s 23-player squad.

The group named by CoachRicardo Gareca includes second-year Orlando City midfielder Yoshi Yotun and first-year Portland Timbers winger Andy Polo.

Yotun and Polo played in 15 and nine WorldCup 2018 qualifiers, respectively, for La Blanquirroja, which qualified for the first time since 1982.
