Only three Americans played in the Premier League in 2024-25 — Matt Turner never got off the bench after his move to Crystal Palace — but each finished the season as automatic choices in their starting lineups.
Chris Richards became just the second American in the modern era to play on the winning team in an FA Cup final, going the distance in Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win over Manchester City.
After missing most of his first season at Bournemouth and the first two months to the 2024-25 season, Tyler Adams was slowly integrated into the Cherries squad and became a fixture in central midfield, playing every game since the start of 2025.
Antonee Robinson finished tied for fourth among Premier League players with 10 assists but he had none after Feb. 1, an indication of how much he was affected by the knee ailment that kept him out of the Concacaf Nations League and will sideline him this summer when the USMNT goes to the Gold Cup.

Brenden Aaronson helped Leeds United with the Championship and earn promotion to the Premier League after a two-year absence.
Haji Wright, who missed almost four months with an ankle injury, scored just 12 goals, his fewest in the last four seasons, but it was good enough to join Aaronson in being recalled to the USMNT for the first time in 2025.

Josh Sargent was named to the EFL Championship Team of the Season. The only other American named to the Championship Team of the Season was Robinson with Fulham in 2022.
