Bayern Munich on Wednesday signed Brazil midfielder Douglas Costa on a five-year deal from Shakhtar Donetsk for 21 million pounds ($32.8 million). Withthe addition of Costa, Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, who guided the club to its 25th Bundesliga title last season, has plenty of midfield options now, includingFranck Ribery, Thiago Alcantara, Xabi Alonso, Javi Martinez and Bastian Schweinsteiger,although the latter has been linked this summer with a possible move to Manchester United.
